Humanism and Theism

Abstract

The purpose of posing humanism against theism is to allow us to view the fallacies of both when they are examined analytically and objectively. It is obvious today that humanism is playing, and has played, a great role in the history of the culture of the modern world; but whether this role has been a good or an evil will be the subject of a considerable portion of this work. In addition, it is even more obvious that theism has figured extensively in this history of the ages. It will be the purpose of this work to point out the necessity of maintaining a theistic belief if society and mankind are to carry on in a commendable fashion in the days to come.
