Holiness and the Atonement

Abstract

Thesis: That the concept of Atonement as throughout the work of a God whose nature is holy love is more clearly exhibited in the classic view described by Aulen in Christus Victor than in either the subjective or objective types of theory, and that this classic view should be further developed and formulated in a way that will remove from it any suspicion of metaphysical dualism and that will establish still more clearly the nature of God's holiness
