Abstract

The thesis describes life and philosophy of famous German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Nietzsche was the the first to recognize the importance of myth in the art.The author shows that Nietzsche's theory of the Apollonian creation of the dream world bears a remarkable resemblance to the Freudian interpretation of art.
