The objectives of the Capacity Inventory Project were to identify capacities of residents of the Spence Neighbourhood; to develop a system connecting the capacity of residents and community- based organizations to organizations and businesses that need workers with those capacities; and to determine the most appropriate organization to host the capacity inventory database. The inventory represents the time and effort of local residents, a committed steering committee, dedicated interviewers, supportive community-based organizations and generous neighbourhood businesses who believe that people working together at the local level can, with strong determination, make real their vision of a satisfying life for all. This Report records new understanding of the capacities of the Spence neighbourhood. Interpretation of the data and experience gained through the Project is the result of discussion in research meetings and meetings of the CED Committee.en_US
