1991-01-01Abstract
The
Canadian Healthy Communities Project {CHCP) was launched in 1988 as a three-year project to
promote municipal involvement in creating healthy communities. In 1991, CHCP will complete three years
of its operation, and funding has been extended for a further three-year period. In a way, the
papers included in this volume present the challenge, as well as the potential, for improving urban health
in contemporary times.
